Closing the leadership gap for women in the creative industries

With only 22% of leadership roles in the design industry held by women, there is a critical gap in the diversity of the world’s most innovative industry.

As the founder of Kerning the Gap, and with over 20 years’ in leadership, I deliver group workshops, team talks and individual mentoring sessions that are practical, rooted in real agency life, and designed to help challenge the system and help more women get (and love!) their seat at the table.

More about me
A group of women sitting on wooden tiered benches with red cushions in a modern conference or seminar room, some engaging in conversation, with a large digital screen displaying text on the floor in front of them.

Workshops

I have a set of core workshops that have been designed specifically to give participants both theory and real world application, arming them with tools, techniques and practices that remove both real and perceived hurdles to leadership.

Events

From keynotes and panel discussions to community events and 'lunch and learn' team talks, I love getting people into a room to explore the issues affecting diversity in the design industry, and stimulating new thinking that creates change.

Mentoring

I am passionate about the power of conversation to create growth and personal change. I specialise in supporting women through times of transition, whether that’s a new leadership role, returning to work or an exciting career change.
