Mentoring
With 10 years leading Kerning the Gap’s wonderful mentoring programme, I am passionate about the power of conversation to create growth and personal change.
As a mentor I specialise in supporting women, often through times of transition. Whether that’s a new leadership role, returning to work or a complete career change, having an experienced mentor as a soundboard and cheerleader can be a game changer - not only in what you find you’re able to achieve, but how brilliant you can feel whilst doing it.
Mentoring packages
-
Sessions x 6
This is perfect if you’ve got something big coming up - a new role, a chance for promotion, a life change - and want to work with someone to help you navigate it.
It can also be a good place to start to see what working with a mentor can do for you.
-
Sessions x 9
This is a little more in depth, and would suit anyone who’s reached a moment in their career and just doesn’t feel like it’s panning out the way you planned. You feel like change is need, but you can’t see a clear path through.
This is also a really good package for anyone embedding into a new role with increased responsibility.
-
Sessions x 12
This is a classically shaped mentoring engagement, where there is time to grow and develop with whatever life, work, and everything in between, has to throw at you.
This is a deeper journey with time to explore what you want from your career and how you navigate both opportunities and challenges.
-
Sessions are 90 mins long, and can be done in person (London and south east) or online.
Lots of mentees like a hybrid of both for flexiblity.
-
This completely depends. Broadly we would meet once a month, but you might feel you need your first couple of sessions fortnightly to tackle something and get started with more momentum. We’ll tailor that to what you need.
-
I’m available Monday to Friday, and am happy to arrange evening sessions if you’re unable to take time out during the working day.
-
Absolutely! Sometimes a well timed voice note is just what you need to get you through a challenge.
And you better believe if you’ve had a win, I’ll want you to whatsapp me straight away.
-
Coaching is often focused on specific goals and skills, providing guidance and feedback to help individuals improve their performance.
Mentoring is a more holistic and longer-term relationship, where the mentor shares their industry specific knowledge, wisdom, and experience to guide and support the mentee’s personal and professional growth.
-
Of course! If you want to go longer than you have booked, you can absolutely add sessions on.
Equally, if something changes and you need to re-focus your energy before our booked sessions have finished, that’s totally fine too.
-
121 mentoring with me is priced at £160+vat per 90 min session.
(If you’re booking 9 or more sessions you also get a 10% discount).
If you’re not being supported by a company, you might find the Kerning the Gap mentoring scheme to be more accessible in terms of cost. Read more about it here.
